"Shipwrecks of the St. Clair River at Port Huron. THEY'RE STILL DOWN THERE!" will be held in the grass, along the Thomas Edison Parkway just south of the Blue Water Bridge at 12:00 noon Sunday September 20th.
Attendees are asked to RSVP by phone, 810-385-7240 or by email, firstname.lastname@example.org <
Bring a portable seating device, chair or blanket and a light jacket. The presentation will be about the cause and circumstances of the wrecks still lying on the bottom in the immediate vicinity of the presentation and some that have been salvaged and removed.
We will also talk about the "Great Storm of 1913" that caused the sinking of a dozen vessels, throwing 25 more on the rocks, and killing 250-300 sailors! A great day to bicycle or walk for a great outing and to conserve parking. The weather forecast is beautiful!
